Because the value of a raffle ticket can be high, due to their possible exchange for large and often expensive prizes, the potential for fraudulent raffle ticket duplication should be noted. With advances in digital imaging technology, it’s becoming easier to produce duplicate raffle tickets, making this issue even more pronounced. Our raffle tickets include a number of affective security features to detour potential ticket fraud.

Unique Barcodes

Raffle tickets feature a unique barcode and order ID placed on the back of each ticket. Simply having a unique barcode and ID on the back of each ticket will usually stop most people from creating fraudulent tickets. If you have a barcode scanner in the correct format, it is possible to scan each ticket to make sure each barcode and ID is unique. Check with our customer support staff to determine what barcode format is being used. Both our quick raffle tickets and custom raffle tickets feature barcodes.

Heat Sensitive Security Ink

Our custom raffle tickets feature a heat sensitive security ink that that changes color as the ticket is exposed to heat. While it may be possible to recreate the color and type of text on a ticket, it will not be possible to recreate our heat sensitive ink.

Thermal Raffle Ticket Security Features

Thermal raffle tickets have their own unique security features. A scratch off, similar to those on lottery tickets, is placed on the back of our thermal tickets. By rubbing the scratch off with a coin, our logo can be seen. Thermal raffle tickets also feature UV sensitive ink. The UV ink is visible when displayed under a black light.
