TicketBench/RaffleBench uses a sophisticated printing engine that tiles your project across each piece of paper. This method of printing gives us great control over how each 'tile' is numbered and how variable data is selected for each 'tile'. There are three methods of printing: horizontal, vertical, and stacked.
|
Horizontal output prints the 'tiles' across the page from left to right, top to bottom. This is the standard output for TicketBench/RaffleBench.

Vertical output prints the 'tiles' starting in the upper right corner of the page. It then prints down the page, wrapping around to the upper left corner when it reaches the bottom. This is useful for creating books of tickets that can be easily torn out.

Stacked output prints 'down' through a stack of paper. If you have a print run of 50 sheets, the first tile would be in the upper left corner of the first page. The second tile would be in the upper left corner of the second page, the third in the upper left corner of the third page, and so on. Once the bottom of the stack is reached, PrintersBench wraps back around to the top page to print the next tile. When the project is finished printing, it is already collated, saving you the time it takes to sort by hand.

Partial stacked output is the same as stacked output, except is only prints a portion of the stack. It is used for printing recovery sheets if a sheet of tickets was ruined or lost in some manner. To print a partial stack, select Partial Stacked Run as the output type, then enter the page number you would like to begin printing at in the Begin Page field and page you would like to stop at in the End Page field. Be sure to set the Number of Pages in Stack field to the size of the entire stack, not just the portion you need to reprint.
For example, if printed a 500 page stack and need to reprint pages 45-50, you would set the output type to Partial Stacked Run, the Begin at Page field to 45, the End at Page field to 50, and the Number of Pages in Stack field to 500.
