There are several alignment tools to help line up objects on the workbench. These tools can only be used if there are multiple items selected, or if a single text or serial number object is selected. When aligning multiple objects, you need to be aware of the order the objects are selected in. All alignment actions will use the first object selected as a control when determining where the other objects should be placed. Select the control object by single clicking it. Then, select additional objects by clicking on them while holding the Shift or Ctrl button on the keyboard. Once you have selected all the objects you want to align, press one of the following buttons in the toolbar:
Top Align: Aligns the top of each selected object with the top of the control object.
Bottom Align: Aligns the bottom of each selected object with the bottom of the control object.
Center Vertically: Aligns the vertical center of each selected object with the vertical center of the control object.
Left Align: Aligns the left of each selected object with the left of the control object.
Right Align: Aligns the right of each selected object with the right of the control object.
Center Horizontally: Aligns the horizontal center of each selected object with the horizontal center of the control object.
In addition to the choices above, there are two more alignment actions:
Center on Ticket Vertically: Centers the selected objects horizontally on the ticket. If there are multiple objects selected, the objects are centered as a group - the distances between them remain the same.
Center on Ticket Horizontally: Centers the selected objects vertically on the ticket. If there are multiple objects selected, the objects are centered as a group - the distance between them remains the same.
